Ever dreamed of horseback riding out in the wild west? Here are a couple of options sure to fit.
Come experience some real Western history and heritage at the M Diamond, a working cattle ranch in beautiful Beaver Creek outside Sedona, Arizona. Complimentary Transportation is provided from Sedona, a 30 minute drive in air conditioned vehicles. On the way, you will see and learn about our range land and enter a vast expanse of awesome views and vistas, experiencing the Arizona countryside of the original homesteaders.
The M Diamond is located down a dirt road because working cattle ranches are not conveniently located downtown anywhere! But you know what they say, the real west begins where the pavement ends, and we provide complimentary transportation in new air conditioned vans.
One hour ride per person: $69 + tax
Ranch Style Rendezvous:
This is our complete and authentic western evening enjoyed by both big and little buckaroos. And because the M Diamond is a working cattle ranch, our cowboy cook outs have something the others don't...COWBOYS!! We always invite our whole ranch family (they are always hungry), so you may share food and conversation with them. What better way to learn about cattle, horses and the western way of life?
We plan the times of these evenings so that you can experience our spectacular sunsets, beginning with a one hour trail ride. After the ride, there's a trip on a horse drawn wagon pulled by one of our stout draft horse teams. The trip ends at "The Lookout" our cook out site, where youll have 360 degree views of the Verde Valley and the Mogollon Rim and a great photo op for the sunset.
For your dinner we have rounded up a much-praised menu: mesquite grilled steak, cowboy beans, bread, corn on the cob, baked potato, salad and dessert (usually Dutch oven peach cobbler). Dining by lantern light allows you to enjoy our amazing star-filled night sky. The mood is just perfect with the addition of a camp fire and a cowboy singer. Alvie Self, member of the Rockabilly Hall of Fame, plays the acoustic guitar (what else?) performing cowboy classics and most any other song you might ask him to.
Adults $114 tax
Children under 12 $94 + tax
